FESTIVAL GUIDE

Location:
The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival takes place in the Telluride Town Park , located at the east end of town. Everything within Telluride is within walking distance of the park (it's a small town). Telluride offers a free shuttle service, the Galloping Goose, which runs from 7AM - 9PM each day, with stops located throughout the town. If you are staying in Mountain Village , Telluride is a free gondola ride away. The gondola runs from 7AM - 2AM on Friday and Saturday of the festival, and until 1AM on Sunday.

Festival Hours:
Friday: gates open at 11:30AM
Saturday: gates open at 11:00AM
Sunday: gates open at 10:30AM

The festival typically runs until 8PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The music continues at 10PM in the juke joints, located within the town of Telluride and Mountain Village .

Festival Box Office Hours (week of the festival):
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00AM - 9:00PM
Sunday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM

The Festival Box Office is located at the Pacific Street entrance to Town Park , behind the Telluride Post Office.

Tickets:
All tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable. Please keep them in a safe place and remember to bring them with you to the festival. Each ticket holder must be present when exchanging tickets for wristbands at the Festival Box Office. An individual will not be able to receive wristbands for other ticket holders not present. Please bring a Photo I.D.

The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is general admission. The festival typically sells out, so buy your tickets in advance! Tickets go on sale 10AM MST, March 1, unless March 1 falls on a weekend then tickets will go on sale that first Monday of March - with the exception of single day passes, which go on sale at a time to be announced later. Please be aware that the VIP 3 Day Passes, Early Bird 3 Day Passes, Campground Vehicle Passes , Campground RV Passes, and Coonskin RV Passes sell out within hours. We do not reserve tickets in advance. The best way to purchase tickets is online at our website, or by calling toll-free 866-515-6166. The phones are busy, busy, busy, if you can purchase your tickets online, please do so.

Town of Telluride Fee - the Town of Telluride charges $2.50 per day on all 3 Day and Single Day festival passes. This fee goes towards the upkeep of Telluride Town Park .

Children 11 and under are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Re-Entry:
When you arrive at the festival, you will exchange your tickets for wristbands at the Festival Box Office. Your wristband allows you to come and go as you please to the festival. Please do not lose or remove your wristband - it is non-replaceable.

What To Bring:
•  Photo I.D.
•  Sunscreen/Hat
•  Lawn Chairs (no high-back lawn chairs are permitted between the sound booth and the stage)
•  Tarps/Blankets (no bigger than 5' X 8'. Please share your tarp when you're not using it)
•  Sunshade Tents (only permitted on the back perimeter of festival grounds)
•  Coolers and UNOPENED plastic water/soda bottles and cans, and UNOPENED food items are allowed - coolers will be searched.
•  Camera (No professional photo equipment allowed)
•  Strollers are allowed
•  Warm Clothes (September can be chilly in Telluride)
•  Rain Gear (Festival goes on Rain or Shine)

What NOT To Bring:
•  No Glass on festival grounds
•  No Pets on festival grounds or in the campground - Strictly Enforced
•  No Alcohol may be brought into the festival - Beer and Wine are available for purchase
•  No Illegal Drugs
•  No Unlicensed Vending
•  No Professional Photo Equipment, Video Cameras or Video Recording Equipment
•  No Frisbees
•  No Shelled Nuts (seriously)

What We Provide on the Festival Grounds:

•  Port-a-potties (and plenty of them)
•  Hand Sinks
•  Trash, Recycling, and Compost Stations
•  Lost & Found (located underneath the big white tent at the festival entrance)
•  ATM
•  A wide variety of Food and Craft Vendors
•  Beer and Wine available for purchase
•  Kids Area

Recording:
Audio taping at the festival is permitted, unless the performing artist requests otherwise. Recording devices must be self-contained (we do not provide AC outlets or patches to the soundboard). There is no designated area for taping. Video cameras and video recording are not permitted.

NO PETS!

Please leave your pet at home - they are not allowed in the festival or the campground. Do not leave your pet in your car or tied to your car! If you are traveling with your pet, please arrange to leave them with the local pet boarding & sitting service:

Local Ordinances You Should Know About (STRICTLY ENFORCED):
Please be aware that open alcohol containers (beer cans, bottles, etc.) are not allowed in the town of Telluride or Mountain Village . You are not allowed to leave the festival with a glass of beer or wine.

Please be aware that sleeping in your vehicle on the streets of Telluride is illegal. Camping is only allowed in the campground and Coonskin RV lot.

Parking:
We do not have a specific parking lot for the festival. You are free to park wherever you can find a legal parking spot in Telluride. Please be aware that main street and its adjacent side streets are paid parking (meters) - the paid parking is enforced from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm MONDAY THRU SATURDAY. Sundays are excluded from parking enforcement. If you decide to park in the metered parking areas, you can purchase a receipt for up to three hours of parking at a rate of fifty cents per hour. During the festival weekend, permit parking (O, G, and W Residential Zone parking) does not apply. You may leave your vehicle parked in these areas for the duration of the festival.

 A limited amount of free all-day parking is also available at the Carhenge parking lot on West Pacific Street .  This lot is serviced by the free Galloping Goose bus system.

Once all parking spots in town are full, we direct you to Mountain Village to park (this usually happens later in the day on Saturday, the busiest day of the festival) - if you park in Mountain Village , you will ride the free gondola to town.

Handicap Parking/Facilities:
A limited amount of handicap parking is available in the Telluride Town Park parking lot. The festival is wheelchair accessible and we provide a space in front of the sound booth for those in wheelchairs. Handicap port-a-potties are provided on the festival grounds.
